Cork is a designated World Health Organisation Healthy City since January 2012. With this designation is a requirement of the local authority to commit to health and a process and structure to achieve it.
The concept was to create a brand that represented the core values of Cork Healthy Cities of connection, collaboration and strength in unity. We looked to use the physical elements of the city – the people, the streets and the river – to communicate these ideas through a linear style logo that clearly illustrated their core values.
This identity was chosen by Cork Healthy Cities as the winning concept and design for their brand and is now used across all their communication channels and platforms.
